Saturday night, we played at Ramsey's Metro Market in Marion. Delicious paninis, and wonderful company.
The Eppings came, as did our lovely hosts Page & Jerry, with a side of their friends and the infamous James.
The next day is where it all went down...
Atkins, Iowa- Bloomsbury Farm
Bloomsbury Farm puts on quite the fall festival. Alan Sivell & Susan Flansburg invited us to the Corn Maze challenge. Steph & Alan led one group, while Molly & James impulsively ran about the maze, managing to find their way back to the entrance 3 times. Page & Jerry won. But as the lady at the maze entrance told us, even losers are winners. Thanks, lady.
Molly won an intense game of tetherball, soon after relaxing on the tire swing.
We looked at pumpkins, we looked at the $20 zip line, we looked at goats, and then we left. Headed to our final destination...
dun dun duuuubuque.
Monk's Kaffee Pub in Dubuque was a treat. Literally. We had delicious frappucinos and fantastic friends come out to watch our final show. The ukulele misbehaved and popped a string, so the set list shifted but it all came together in the end.
Crazy to think that this was only a week, so much happened. But time did fly. Thanks to all of you who came out to support us. You truly made it a wonderful experience.
